Within very easy driving distance there is much sightseeing to be done with the outstanding beauty of National Parks such as Cabo de Gata where you could stumble on wild tortoise. There are beautiful unspoilt villages like Nijar with its street markets and handicrafts. A good day out will take you to the Alhambra and Granada surely one of the wonders of the world dating back to 1238. After visiting Alhambra you should drive to the top of Sierra Nevada with its outstanding views.
