Hotel grounds, beach and pool areas are naturist. Dress for the restaurant. Towel required for the pool-bar, mini-market and beach-bar. You need to be covered to walk through the hotel reception area.

Location
The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Chora Sfakia on the South Coast of Crete. There are extensive views of the sea and mountains. Shops and bars are close by in Chora Sfakia. Free shuttle bus service to the village. Time table in reception. The Vritomartis Rooms and Bungalows are set in landscaped gardens around the pool.

Some rooms and bungalows are near the bar so some noise may be heard.

Around and about
Samarian Gorge, Imbros Gorge, boat trips to Sweetwater Beach.

Historical buildings at Hania. A public bus to Hania passes the hotel daily. You can catch this to the start of the Imbros Gorge.

Beaches and activities
The beach is a short walk away from the hotel but the hotel runs a regular free bus service to and from the beach. The beach is shingle and jelly shoes are recommended.

The road to the beach is a public road. If you walk in the nude it is at your own risk.

There is a beach bar; snacks served from 10.00hrs to 17.00hrs WC and cold shower. Sunbeds and umbrellas available for hire.

Reception
Open 24 hours. Arrival any day. Late room check out £20 per person (subject to availability). Reception will exchange travellers' cheques and sterling usually at a better rate than the local Bureau de Change. The hotel bus timetable is displayed here along with the local bus timetable to Hania.

Swimming pool
1 pool with pool-bar. Surrounded by lawns. FREE sunbeds and umbrellas. Pool-bar open 10.00hrs to 18.00hrs.

Meals
The restaurant and bar are situated in the main building. Continental breakfast and evening meal are included in the price.

Breakfast served 07.30hrs to 09.30hrs. Buffet Style.

Lunch available at the pool bar and the beach-bar from 12 noon. Payable locally.

Dinner served 19.30hrs to 21.30hrs. Buffet Style.

The hotel has entertainment in the bar most nights. Including folklore shows.

Flood lit tennis court, volleyball, table tennis, outdoor chess, petanque, card room. Tennis court (Daylight Free. Local charge for use of floodlights). Hiking and mountaineering. Excursions are organised by the hotel; Notices are posted in reception. The German representative usually escorts the guests.

Daily cleaning. Towels changed daily, Bed linen changed every 3rd day. Toweling robes are provided, changed on request. 1 small bath towel and 1 hand towel per person.
