Location

We are located 20 minutes south of the Cancun International Airport, in the Bay of Petempich in Puerto Morelos, the first tourist development of the Riviera Maya. To the north we are 20 minutes away from Cancun and to the south, 20 minutes from Playa del Carmen. Truly an excellent location as we are close to all major points of interest.

FREQUENTLEY ASKED QUESTIONS-

IS THE POOL AU NATURAL?
One of the pool areas are European style meaning only topless and the main pool are "Clothing Optional". We offer three areas for our guests who enjoy being au natural: an area of the beach, our main pool and the Jacuzzi lounge located on the second floor (in the roof a complete private area).

ARE DRINKS INCLUDED ONLY WITH MEALS?
We are completely All-Inclusive which means all drinks, cocktails and refreshments are included, bar service is available 24 Hours. We offer a wide selection of internationally known brands. We also offer premium brands with a reasonable surcharge. We do this in order to supply all our guests with their favorite brands which cannot always be included.

IS THE DISCO ALLOWING TOPLESS OR NUDE?
We prefer that our guests are fully dressed at the Disco, this does not mean that guests can not be sexy. We are open to SEXY. We do have an area adjoining the Disco which is open to our guests who want to go beyond. This area is private and is conveniently located for drink service.

PLAYROOM ETIQUETTE
Desire Resort & Spa is firmly committed to maintaining an ambiance that can only thrive in a couples-only environment. Guests without a partner are welcomed everywhere on the property, except the Playroom, which is strictly a couples-only activity area.

ARE PEOPLE ALLOWED TO HAVE SEX ON THE JACUZZI, POOLS OR BEACH AREA?
We prefer that all sexual activities take place in the rooms. We ask our guests that no sexual activities be done in public areas. We want all our guests to be happy and we want our guests to return time after time.

ARE PEOPLE ALLOWED TO WALK NUDE IN THE HALLS?
We prefer that clothes be worn in public areas that are not designated as clothing optional.

ARE PICTURES ALLOWED IN THE RESORT?
We do want our clients to take some memories of their holiday to be able to share with family and friends. However, for the privacy of all our guests, we ask that no photography be taken in the clothing optional areas.

IS THE FOOD AT THE SNACK BARS INCLUDED?
Yes, all food outlets are all-inclusive and believe me the food is great. All meals and snacks are included

ARE THE NUDE AREAS SECURED FROM NON-NUDISTS AND ONLOOKERS AND OUTSIDERS?
The resort is located in a very secluded area and is private from onlookers and outsiders. We prefer not to offer Day Passes. If a client wants to experience the resort they should definitely book a holiday like all our other guests. The great thing about the location of the resort is that we are still very close to Cancun and Riviera Maya attractions.

DO THE RESTAURANTS ALLOW TOPLESS?
The main restaurant is casual and comfortable, however we prefer clothes be worn. Men are required to wear shorts and shoes. Women are required to wear a slip over their swimsuits and shoes. No wet clothes are allowed in the restaurant. We want to maintain a dressy atmosphere at the A la Carte Restaurant. Men should wear long pants and shoes. Dress code for Women is dressy. Its so nice to dress up.

IS THERE SECURITY ON PROPERTY?
We have our own security staff on premises that is very well trained on the concept of the hotel and the well being of the clients. We want our guests to feel as better than being home and above all secure.

DOES THE HOTEL HAVE ROOM SERVICE?
Yes, As of December 20th, 2004 the hotel offers 24 hour room service. The menu’s can be found in the guest rooms.

DOES THE RESORT HAVE LAUNDRY SERVICE?
We will offer this service to our guests with an additional cost.

IS THERE INTERNET SERVICE AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS?
Most definitely! We do offer this service to our guests with an additional cost. We have computers located in the lobby area.

IS THE RESORT FOR SWINGERS?
We target to mixed couples who enjoy their privacy and are looking for a unique resort where they can be themselves. At Desire you can dress sexy, dress up for theme nights, enjoy our clothing optional areas and most important you will feel completely comfortable. We target and market DESIRE RESORT to niche markets such as upscale clients, nudists, swingers, etc. The unique feature about the resort is that you will find a variety of guests which give the resort such a wonderful mix and personality.

HOW YOU CAN ENJOY AND RESERVE OUR SPECIALITY RESTAURANT
Reservations can be made between the hours of 9am and 4pm daily. Upon check-in you will receive coupons for Il Piaccere Restaurant (you will receive 1 coupon for a 3 to 5 night stay, and 2 coupons for 6 or 8 night). This will enable an equal opportunity for all, and allow us to provide a high quality service. Reservations are taken on a daily basis at our guest services desk.
